OIPMAC raises $1240 for Heart and Stroke Foundation

Members and associates of the Ontario Institute of PMAC participated in the annual Big Bike event in Vaughan on June 16th hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Together we raised over $1240 for the charity!

The 11 members of the OIPMAC bike team, along with the help of their supporters, fundraised to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

The Heart and Stroke Big Bike event is an exciting and unique experience as participants pedal to power a huge, 30-person bike through the busy streets of Vaughan, raising awareness about these cardiovascular diseases that account for the deaths of more Canadians than any other disease.

Participants had fun, shaking their noisemakers and waving at pedestrians and cars, and enjoyed the supportive honks and waves in return.

The funds raised go directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation to assist with medical advancements, education and social change that is aimed at preventing and reducing death and disability from these diseases.

We are looking forward to our next Charity event!
