How do I become a member of OIPMAC?

What is the cost of membership at OIPMAC?
Membership dues are $380.00 per year, plus tax.
What is a Season’s Pass?
A Season’s Pass provides members who are interested in attending several member events with considerable savings. Members who purchase a Season’s Pass do not have to pay to attend member events nor for meals at the events. Additionally, In addition, it also provides members with a cost effective way of earning maintenance points as they get five maintenance points for attending an all-day professional development event. How can I purchase a Season’s Pass?
To purchase a Season’s Pass please contact Maria Diego, Assistant, Member Development & Membership at 416-977-7566 extension 2131 or send her an email: mdiego@oipmac.ca. You can also apply for a Season’s Pass by selecting the Season’s Pass option on the Membership Application Form.
What is a Student Passport?
OIPMAC has a Student Passport Program. This Program provides full time post-secondary students with cost savings when they become Ontario Institute members. Students who qualify for this Program will receive complimentary membership for their first year as a member. For each year thereafter, they will receive a discounted rate of $30+HST - as long as they remain enrolled full time in a post-secondary program. When a student is no longer enrolled at the post-secondary institution, regular membership fees will apply.
How can I apply for a Student Passport?

What are the benefits of having a Student Passport?
The Student Passport Program allows full time post-secondary students access to all the benefits of membership OIPMAC offers. In addition, these students receive a reduced rate on member events and OIPMAC will hold at least one student member event on campus during the academic year. This on campus event will allow students to interact with supply chain management professionals who are currently working in the industry. For more information on Member Events please click here.
Can non-members attend Member Events?
Yes, all Member Events are open to non-members who want to participate and sample first-hand the high quality programs offered by OIPMAC. Non-members must purchase tickets in advance. For more information on Member Events please click here.
What value will I gain from participating in OIPMAC programs and events?

Are Member Events eligible for maintenance points?
Yes, OIPMAC Certified Supply Chain Management Professionals (Certified SCMPs) earn maintenance points by attending events offered under the Professional Development category. Points offered will be determined by the Maintenance of Certification Program criteria in effect at the time of the event. For more information on Member Events please click here.

Why doesn’t my user name and password work for the OIPMAC member portal?
If your user name and password for the member portal does not work please contact Steven Nagy at 416-977-7566 extension 2139 or send an email to snagy@oipmac.ca. Before contacting OIPMAC you may want to check the following:
- the address bar in your browser to ensure you are on the correct website – OIPMAC Website: https://ontarioinstitute.ca/members
- make sure the https is in front, not www
- that you are not on PMAC’s Website: www.pmac.ca
- your membership ID number again to ensure it is the correct number - remember if your ID number and login name has 0 in the front, you will need to include 0.
- when you are inputting your password, make sure that you put in capitals where necessary and small letters where necessary as case matters
- that your email address corresponds to OIPMAC’s database
- If you still cannot log in, try resetting your password by clicking on the “Reset my password” link and use your email address that we have on file (needs to be your primary email address)
For Lotus Notes Users
If you use Lotus Notes as your email client, the reset password link doesn’t work from Lotus Notes. If you have web-mail access to the same account, you can use the link from there. Otherwise, please contact Steven Nagy at snagy@oipmac.ca or 416-977-7566 extension 2139 to reset your password. Steven will send you a special link which you will need to copy to the browser instead of clicking on it.
