Technical Courses - 13 sessions each

  • Introduction to Procurement
  • Introduction to Logistics
  • Introduction to Transportation
  • Introduction to Operations Management

Soft Skills Development - 2-day certificate seminars

  • Introduction to Business Communications
  • Introduction to Negotiations  (equivalent to Negotiation Strategies for Purchasing)
  • Introduction to Contract Law and Administration  (equivalent to Fundamentals of Contract Law)

Business Management Knowledge - 2-day seminars

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Marketing
  • Business Planning

Participants have the following three options to receive credits for the Business Management Knowledge:

  • Complete the seminar offered by OIPMAC (listed above)

Or

Or

  • Complete a full credit course at a Canadian Accredited College or University covering basic concepts in Accounting & Finance, Marketing, and Business Planning.

Program Completion

Those who successfully complete courses and certificate seminars will be eligible to receive certificates of completion. OIPMAC membership is mandatory to complete the certificate seminars and courses.
