Pre-Requisites and Admissions

Admission Requirement

Interested applicants must have completed one of the following:

  1. Professional experience in procurement (minimum of two years)
  2. Supply Management Training/Certificate in Purchasing
  3. University degree in a business related field
  4. College Diploma in a business related field
  5. Accelerated Business Management Program (ABMP) or
  6. Business Management Courses - Economics, Introduction to Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business Communications and Organizational Behaviour from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution

Application Procedure:

  1. Complete the Application for Admission and email, fax or mail it to the Ontario Institute of PMAC along with supporting documentation and a resume.
  2. OIPMAC will review your application and a confirmation will be emailed to you when you have been accepted into the program.
  3. Upon receiving your confirmation of acceptance, you will be registered for you first course as indicated on your registration form.

* Please note: You can become a member while applying for the Diploma program. In addition to several valuable benefits, members receive substantial discounts on courses and seminars in the program.

Program Completion

Those who successfully complete all requirements within three years will be eligible to receive the Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management to recognize completion. OIPMAC membership is mandatory to complete the program and be eligible for the Diploma. When all the requirements have been completed please download the application form here and submit it to the OIPMAC office.
