LouAnn Birkett, C.P.P.

LouAnn Birkett, C.P.P. has more than 35 years experience in the supply chain management field, having served in a wide range of purchasing positions in the public and private sectors.  She has taught a variety of supply chain management courses at several Ontario colleges over the years, including OIPMAC principles-based courses and seminars.  A member of the association for more than 26 years, LouAnn has served as president and vice-president of the former OIPMAC Durham District, president and vice-president of OIPMAC, and director and chair of the PMAC board.

LouAnn is currently running for a Director position on the PMAC National Board of Directors. There is one Director position to be filled by a candidate elected from among the general membership for the 2010-2013 term, and LouAnn would be an excellent choice to give OIPMAC members a strong voice in the governance of our profession. Members and Associates who are unable to attend the PMAC Annual General Meeting in Regina on June 9th, 2010 are encouraged to cast their vote by checking off the candidate of their choice on the voting ballot, and sending the signed ballot to the PMAC President and COO, rdye@pmac.ca , by 12:00 noon EDT on Wednesday, June 2, 2010.
