Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Ontario Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada is responsible for the overall governance of the organization. They work towards securing the community support and appreciation for the organization’s beliefs, vision, mission, and long-term direction.
We are pleased to announce our 2011-2012 Board of Directors.

Ray has held a variety of Procurement and Contract Management roles with companies in the Ottawa area for the past 30 years. These have included a specialized helicopter parts supplier, an export trading firm, an engineering firm, a secure systems integrator, a manufacturer of ruggedized computers for the Aerospace and Defence Industry, one of the world’s premier management consulting and technology outsourcing firms, a defence systems integrator, a network communication company and, currently, a waste-to-energy conversion company. A member of PMAC since 1987, Ray has been an active participant at the District, Institute and National level. He served as Ottawa District President in 1993, Ontario Institute President in 1998/99 and Chair of the National Board of Directors from 2005 to 2007. Ray’s affiliation with the Institute dates back to the first AGM, which was held in 1991.

Richard Lough, CSCMP
Canadian Blood Services
Richard has been a member of PMAC since 1991 and has volunteered at various levels within the association. In the past, he served on the Ottawa District Board and the OIPMAC Board in various capacities. At a local level these included: Public Relations, Seminar Coordinator and District President. Richard served on the OIPMAC Board for several years as a Director and Secretary Treasurer. Richard holds a BA in Political Science from Concordia University. Courses included economics and finance. He also holds the CSCMP and CPM designations. Richard has 16 years of accounting and supply management experience in the communications, non-profit and health care industries. Currently he is Manager, Contracts & Strategic Procurement with Canadian Blood Services.
Shawn Casemore, CSCMP
Bruce Power
Shawn has held several leadership roles in Supply Chain Management since 1995 in the Automotive, Electronics, Packaging and Energy Generation industries. Specializing in the areas of Procurement and Inventory Management, Shawn is a holder of the Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation from PMAC and the Certified Purchasing Manager designation from ISM, as well as an expert in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Shawn has been a member of the Ontario Institute for over 16 years and has been active with the board since 2009.
Don J. Harvey, CSCMP
Canada Post Corporation
Don Harvey is Director, Transportation Contracting for Canada Post Corporation. He has previously held several senior positions including Director National Transportation and Mail Operations Contracting, Senior Advisor Materials and Services Contracting, and Manager of Strategic Sourcing at Canada Post. His procurement experience spans 26 years at Canada Post Corporation and the Government of Canada covering a very broad range of goods and services and large capital projects. Don holds professional designations in engineering (P. Eng.), risk management (C.R.M.) and procurement (C.P.P., CSCMP) with the Procurement Management Association of Canada. He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a certificate in International Business.
Nicola Raycraft, CSCMP
MedBuy Corporation
Nicola Raycraft is an experienced supply chain professional with a diverse purchasing and operations background. Her current role is Manager, Strategic Sourcing for MedBuy Corporation. She has been a senior manager in the automotive sector and OEM equipment manufacturing, as a well as in logistics and supply management for multinational food and packaging producers. Nicola has been involved in the PMAC education program for six years as an instructor in the former principles-based accreditation program, and in SSCMLP courses and workshops on-line and in the classroom. Nicola recently completed her MBA, and for her graduation thesis was named the recipient of the 2010 Best Research Paper in Supply Chain Management by the Canadian Purchasing Research Foundation (CPRF).
Lorilei White, CSCMP
Procurement Director (Canada), HP
Lorilei is the Director of Global Procurement Canada for Hewlett-Packard Canada Co., responsible for strategic supply chain development and cost optimization within HP Canada to key business stakeholders, customer and Business Units. Lorilei has 20+ years of experience in the supply chain field spanning a variety of commodities and industries - from retail to manufacturer. While attending York University for a Business Degree Lorilei began her association with PMAC. Lorilei holds the CSCMP designation in addition to the CPM (Certified Procurement Manager) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). Lorilei was previously an Advisor to the Board of Directors for OIPMAC and continues to serve on the Program Planning Coucil for Zone 2. Lorilei also has extensive experience as a certified ISO Lead Auditor, Project Manager and Business Process Reengineer and Design Expert.

Stefan Patrascu, CSCMP
Leggett and Platt Automotive Group North America
Stefan is the Program Manager for the Japanese Business Unit overseeing the whole supply chain and managing a cross functional launch team. He received the highest mark in Canada for PMAC’s 2007 National CPP examination. His 18+ years in education, wholesale, retail and manufacturing allowed him to gain international experience in business administration, entrepreneurship, strategic procurement and teaching. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, as well as the following procurement professional designations: CSCMP, CPP (PMAC), CPM (ISM USA) and the Project Management Institute’s global credential PMP. Stefan, a member of PMAC member since 2004, has been involved in the Program Planning Council for Zone 1 since 2008. He was appointed advisor to the OIPMAC Board of Directors in 2010.
Malcolm A. Harris, CSCMP
Malcolm Harris is a recent Retiree who has spent the past 30+ years providing various levels of supply chain support to R & D, engineering, construction, manufacturing and public sector organizations. A member of OIPMAC since 1981, Malcolm also spent 15 years teaching business management, quality, logistics and purchasing courses in-house, at community colleges and Ryerson University. A recipient of the CPP (CSCMP) designation in 1987, Malcolm is looking forward to volunteering his time to support OIPMAC and various community organizations.

Drake MacDonald, CSCMP
Adeptron Technologies Corporation
Drake MacDonald serves as Vice President - Supply Chain Management for Adeptron Technologies Corporation. He joined Adeptron in mid-2008. Prior to that he was Director, Supply Chain Management at Allen Vanguard Corporation from July 2007 to June 2008, and Manager, Supply Chain Management at Smart Technologies between October 2004 and July 2007. He has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, serving in senior supply chain management and Operations Management positions. Drake served 10 years as a National Board Member for the Purchasing Management Association of Canada, and is a Past President of OIPMAC. He holds the CSCMP and C.P.M. professional designations.
